How beautiful it is that we have a choice of what art means to us! During a conversation about the lyrics to Queen's "Bohemian Rhapsody" with a close friend, the original meaning might as well been thrown out of the window. We partook in a few conclusions that fit a whole heck of a lot better in our opinion.
Many times the lyrics of a song may be poetic or perhaps even blunt, but the original meaning for the artist's choice of words maybe misinterpreted. This can be a great thing! Words have so many different meanings and these artist weave them together to make them their own. What do the lyrics to the songs below mean to you?

ReplyDeleteVery true Stephanie! When we dig a little deeper we strike a cord with peoples emotions or even make them understand what they're feeling. Some songs will make you go "Wow, how did they put that in words!"
